Lihuén is an animated series for early childhood that premiered in 2023 on Argentina’s public children’s channel Paka Paka. The first season consists of 10 episodes of 13 minutes each, created entirely in cutout animation by Micelio Estudio, from visual development through final animation.

Lihuén invites young audiences to explore the Argentine territory through the magic of traditional myths and folk legends. The main character, Lihuén, is a small, curious light who travels across diverse landscapes. Accompanied by the Aluminé and guided by Küyen, the moon, Lihuén encounters creatures, stories, and cultures that are part of the soul of the country. Through empathy, observation, and play, Lihuén sparks imagination and respect for diversity, on a journey filled with wonder, emotion, and learning.
